Online baccarat rules are very few and easy to learn. That is the good thing about baccarat.
There are two variations to playing online baccarat - Punto Banco Baccarat and Northern America Baccarat. The online baccarat rules of these two, however, are essentially the same. Specifically, the basic rule is to get the sum closest to the number nine. Very easy.
Online Baccarat Rules Card Values: Online baccarat rules card values are fairly easy to learn. The cards are very simple to understand and master. In playing online baccarat, you use a standard deck of cards. This includes all the cards in the deck - all numbered or value cards, suits, and face cards. The ace is equivalent to the number one. All valued cards from two to nine are equivalent to their value meaning two is equivalent to two and so on and so forth until number nine. Ten is equivalent to zero, and so are the face cards - the Jacks, Queens, and Kings.
Online Baccarat Rules in Dealing the Cards: The basic rule is that for your hand to be as close to number nine when added up. Before determining this, the dealer would have to deal two cards each to the player and himself, the dealer or banker. If the added value you get, or that of the banker, is equal only to four or leas, then you, or the banker, will get a third card. This will be your chance of getting an additional card that could add up closest to nine. For example, if you get an ace and a two, you get only the sum of three, and then you will be dealt a third card. If your third card is six, then bingo - a nine!
How to Win with the Online Baccarat Rules: You win online baccarat if the sum of your cards is equal or closest to number nine, that is without getting a number over nine. If the total of your hand is greater than nine, it will drop its tens digit. Hence, if your hand is equal to 12, you will only get two. If you get an ace and a two, and your third card is a nine, you get twelve, reduced to two, and you lose if the dealer has a higher amount.
Betting According to the Online Baccarat Rules: Just as with the regular baccarat, you can bet in three ways with online baccarat. You can bet on the player (your own hand), on the dealer (banker), or you can bet on a tie. If you bet on a tie and win, you have a large payout but the house edge is very high. So don't bother. If you bet on your own hand, there is a little bit higher tax. So try not. The best way always is to bet on the banker because of the low house edge. On the other hand, if you do, you will be charged a commission of 5% because it wins very frequently. If it's a tie, you will receive an 8:1 payout.
